The chart below takes each month and further breaks average temperatures down into time of day. In St. Lucia, the coolest times of day are when the sun is low in the sky, such as early morning and early evening. Though temperatures are similar during these two times of day, outdoor physical activity (such as hiking and exploring) is best done in the early morning as the sun is rising, so darkness does not catch you unawares. Late morning and early afternoon temperatures vary only slightly, but are still around three to four degrees hotter than early morning. These time periods are best spent sunbathing, participating in water sports, and exploring indoor attractions. If you are going to be outside or at the beach, protect yourself with a high SPF sun block.
